Chick Wings — Food Photography for Uber Eats

Chick Wings — Food Photography for Uber Eats

Chick Wings, a restaurant based in Toronto, was struggling with low-quality stock imagery on their Uber Eats menu, which affected customer perception and sales. As a frequent customer, we initiated a conversation with the owner and proposed a complete visual refresh using high-resolution, authentic imagery that captured the real textures and quality of their food.

Creative Direction

Our direction emphasized elevated simplicity — modern, appetizing, and true to the brand’s character. We opted for a granite background to ground the imagery with a rich, high-end tone, contrasting beautifully against the warmth of fried wings and golden poutine.

The shoot was executed on a 100-megapixel camera using flash lighting, allowing us to capture every crisp detail while maintaining natural highlights. We designed the setup to minimize post-processing — keeping the textures authentic, the lighting controlled, and the food looking as real as it tastes.

Outcome

The final images immediately enhanced Chick Wings’ presentation on Uber Eats and across their digital platforms. The business gained a professional, appetizing look that better represented their product quality and brand story.

While the larger menu redesign and in-store poster concepts remain in development, the photography established a strong foundation for future creative growth.
